25 Million Dollar Winning Lottery Ticket Sold in Ocean County, NJ

We all daydream about what it would be like to win the lottery and all the things we would do with our winnings. Paying off a mortgage, helping family, paying down debt, home improvements, traveling, helping favorite charities, savings for future generations, new toys, etc. There are so many ways to spend lottery winnings, but will or could that ever happen? Well for one person here in New Jersey that dream may be a bit closer. It appears a winning Pick-6 New Jersey Lottery ticket was purchased in Ocean County. The winning ticket is worth a whopping 25.8 million dollars. The 4th largest jackpot in the New Jersey Lottery Pick 6 Jackpot history.

According to a recent Patch article, "Ocean County has a new multimillionaire, thanks to the Pick-6. A ticket winning $28.5 million was sold at the Route 88 Quick Chek in Point Pleasant - the fourth-largest jackpot in the game's history, according to NJ Lottery officials." Now we are not sure where the winner was from, as far as my information, but we do know they bought the ticket in Point Pleasant. An Ocean County resident? A traveler swinging through the area? We don't know yet.

By the way, the record for New Jersey Lottery Pick 6 was set in 2002 when a winning ticket was sold in Passaic County. The ticket was worth 48.9 million dollars and was sold in Clifton.

So check those tickets and see if you have won 25.8 million dollars. "The 51st roll had one ticket matching all six numbers drawn for the Monday, Aug. 14, Pick-6 with Double Play drawing, taking home the massive annuity jackpot. The winning numbers for Monday's drawing were 10, 12, 21, 30, 38, and 45"
